The price

$7.99 is the regular price. It is currently $4.95 — a 38% launch discount. Regional pricing applies.

The studio's own FAQ gives the price as "$7.99 or your regional equivalent", and Steam's price data confirms $7.99 as the base with $4.95 as the current figure. If you see $4.95 quoted somewhere without mention of a discount, that page will go stale when the sale ends.

Is BOMBANANA! free?

No. This is one of the most-searched questions about the game, in several languages, and the answer is the same in all of them.

The confusion is understandable: there was a free demo, and it was enormous — over 6 million people played it during Steam Next Fest. That demo has since been taken down for the paid release. If you played it for free before September and now find it asking for money, nothing went wrong; the demo period ended.

Will the demo come back?

Officially undecided. The FAQ says the team is focused on the launch and will "reassess if it's possible to bring the demo back" afterwards.

How many copies do you need?

Three. The game needs exactly three players and there is no shared-copy or spectator arrangement documented anywhere official. Each of your three players needs to own it.

Redeem codes

There is no redeem-code system in BOMBANANA!. If you searched for "bombanana codes", you are almost certainly after room codes — the short codes used to invite friends into a lobby. Those are here.

Anything presenting itself as a reward code for this game did not come from the developer.

Where to buy

Steam only. There is no official Epic, itch.io or standalone store version. Mobile, console and Roblox versions are in development but not released.
